How does booking work?
Choose your traveler count, add the tour to your cart, and check out. At checkout your card is authorized (held) through PayPal — not charged. Your booking goes to the guide, who confirms your preferred date within 12 hours. Your card is captured only when the guide confirms.
When is my tour date confirmed?
Manually, within 12 hours of booking. Your guide is a real person running a real boat or tour; we confirm the date with them before locking anything in. You’ll get an email and a WhatsApp message the moment it’s confirmed.
Why is there no date picker?
Because availability is confirmed by your guide, not by an algorithm. A date picker would imply a guaranteed slot we can’t honestly promise until the guide says yes. The authorize-and-hold model is the honest version: you reserve, we confirm, you’re charged only on confirmation.
What are the refund windows?
More than 72 hours before departure: full refund. 48–72 hours before: 50%. Under 48 hours: non-refundable. EU/UK consumers also keep cancellation rights — see our Refund Policy for the details, including the 14-day withdrawal terms.
Is my payment safe?
Yes. Your card data never touches our server — it’s entered on PayPal’s host. PayPal authorizes and captures; we only see the result. EU cards go through 3D Secure / SCA. If the guide can’t fulfill the tour, the authorization is voided within the 29-day hold window and you’re charged nothing.
What about pickup, group size, and language?
- Pickup — tell us your hotel or meeting point in the “Preferred date & pickup details” note at checkout.
- Group size — each tour lists its maximum. Most are small groups of around six travelers.
- Language — every tour lists the languages your guide speaks.
