What you’ll do

Five hours, five stops.

  1. 6:00 AM

    Hotel pick-up & the morning river

    I'll pick you up at your hotel and we'll head to the pier.
    Then it's time to hop on the boat — cruise along the Mekong for around 30 minutes as the city slowly wakes up and the river gets busier.

  2. 6:45 AM

    Cái Răng floating market

    We cruise around the market and watch local traders start their day on the river.
    Boats loaded with tropical fruits, vegetables and other goods move around the water, creating a lively morning scene that has been part of delta life for generations.
    Keep your camera ready — and your eyes open!

  3. 7:30 AM

    Breakfast on the river

    After exploring the market, we hop onto a local floating restaurant for breakfast.
    Enjoy a delicious local breakfast dish with a cup of Vietnamese coffee while sitting right on the river.
    Good food + coffee + boats = a pretty good way to start the day.

  4. 9:00 AM

    Cacao farm experience

    Leave the floating market behind and head to a local cacao farm.
    You'll discover how cacao is grown and learn about the traditional process of turning cacao beans into chocolate — and about cacao cider, a unique drink made from the cacao fruit.
    See the cacao journey from the tree to your cup — and eventually to your chocolate bar!

  5. 10:00 AM

    Back to Cần Thơ

    After our cacao adventure, we head back toward Cần Thơ city center.
    By around 11:00 AM you'll be back in town with a full stomach, a cup of coffee in you, and hopefully a few good Mekong stories to tell.
