2-Day Mekong Delta Discovery

1. Day 1

   08:00 — Leave Saigon

   We pick you up in Saigon in the morning and hit the road toward Sa Đéc.
   The journey takes around 2.5 hours — plenty of time to leave the city behind and watch the landscape gradually change from busy streets to rice fields, gardens and small delta communities.
   The Mekong adventure starts here.

   Day 1

   10:30 — Sa Đéc local market

   First stop: Sa Đéc market.
   Get into the lively rhythm of local life as we walk through the market and discover colorful tropical fruits, fresh produce and all the things that make a delta market feel so alive.
   This isn't just a place to take photos — it's where local people come to shop, trade, eat and start their day.

3. Day 1

   11:30 — Huỳnh Thủy Lê ancient house

   Step into the fascinating Huỳnh Thủy Lê ancient house, one of Sa Đéc's most famous historic landmarks.
   Explore the beautiful architecture and discover the fascinating mix of Vietnamese, Chinese and French influences that makes this house so distinctive.
   A little history, a little mystery — and plenty of beautiful details to look at.

4. Day 1

   12:15 — Kiến An Cung pagoda

   Continue to Kiến An Cung, a historic Chinese pagoda in the heart of Sa Đéc.
   Take your time exploring the colorful architecture, intricate decorations and cultural stories behind this unique place of worship.

   Day 1

   13:00 — Local lunch

   By now you've probably worked up an appetite — so let's eat!
   Enjoy a local Vietnamese lunch and take some time to relax before the afternoon adventure.
   Good food first. More exploring later.

6. Day 1

   14:00 — Traditional pottery & flower-pot making

   We leave the center of Sa Đéc for a traditional pottery and flower-pot workshop.
   See how local craftsmen work with clay and discover how simple pieces of clay are transformed into pots and everyday products.
   You'll get a closer look at the techniques, tools and craftsmanship behind a traditional local industry.
   From a lump of clay to something you can take home — that's the fun part.

7. Day 1

   15:00 — Head to Cần Thơ

   We leave Sa Đéc and continue toward Cần Thơ, the largest city in the Mekong Delta.
   Check in, relax and enjoy a free evening in Cần Thơ.
   Overnight in Cần Thơ.

   Day 2

   06:00 — Start your morning on the river

   It's an early start — 6:00 AM — but there's a good reason: this is when the Mekong Delta really comes alive.
   We head out to the river and experience the morning atmosphere of Cần Thơ's floating market as boats loaded with fresh produce begin their daily trading.
   Coffee can wait. The Mekong can't.

   Day 2

   06:30 — Floating market

   Cruise through the floating market and watch local traders buy and sell fruits, vegetables and other goods directly from their boats.
   See how business happens on the river and experience one of the most recognizable traditions of delta life.
   Keep your camera ready — there is always something happening around you.

10. 
    Day 2

    08:00 — Sprout-growing village

    Leave the busy market behind and head into the countryside.
    Visit a local sprout-growing village and discover how farmers cultivate fresh sprouts from tiny seeds into the vegetables that eventually reach local kitchens and markets.
    Meet local growers and get a glimpse into the everyday agricultural life of the delta.
    Small plants. Lots of work. Very local.

11. 
    Day 2

    09:30 — Ba Láng fruit garden & lunch

    Slow down and enjoy the greener side of the Mekong Delta.
    Walk among tropical fruit trees, discover seasonal fruits and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of a traditional garden.
    Then it's time for lunch — a local meal surrounded by greenery before we continue to Cồn Sơn island.
    Take your time. This is the Mekong — there's no need to rush.

    Day 2

    12:30 — Cross the river to Cồn Sơn island

    We head to Cô Bắc pier and take a local ferry across the river to Cồn Sơn island.
    The journey is short, but the scenery immediately feels different.
    Welcome to a quieter side of the Mekong.

    Day 2

    13:00 — Puffed-rice making

    Cồn Sơn is home to small communities where traditional livelihoods are still an important part of everyday life.
    At a local puffed-rice workshop, watch the traditional process and see how simple ingredients are transformed into a crunchy, delicious delta snack.
    It's simple, it's tasty — and yes, you may get to try some!

    Day 2

    Tropical fruit garden

    Continue through a local fruit garden and discover some of the tropical fruits that thrive in the fertile soil of the Mekong Delta.
    Depending on the season, you may see different fruits growing throughout the garden.
    The Mekong has a pretty impressive dessert menu.

    Day 2

    7 Bon fish raft

    Our final stop is the 7 Bon fish raft, where you'll discover traditional freshwater fish farming on the river.
    Learn how local families raise fish in floating cages and see how closely their everyday lives are connected to the waterways around them.
    A perfect final look at the relationship between people, water and food in the delta.

16. Day 2

    15:00 — Return to Cần Thơ

    After exploring Cồn Sơn island, we cross back to the mainland and return to Cần Thơ.
    Take a final look at the river and the countryside as our two-day Mekong adventure comes to an end.
    Come for the sights. Stay for the stories. And leave with a little piece of the Mekong in your memory.
